    1. Tickets for the Great Fishing Prize Draw – Win a day’s fishing for FIVE with Jeremy Wade – (this draw) will be on sale from 20th January 2020 to 14th March 2020 inclusive. The draw will take place on Thursday 19th March 2020.
    2. Entry will only be online through A maximum of 6,000 online tickets will be available for this draw. In the event all 6,000 online tickets are sold prior to 14th March 2020, the online entry website will be closed early.
    3. By entering this draw, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
    4. Entry to this draw will only be by online entry accessed via the Angling Trust website at https://joinanglingtrust.net/great-fishing-prize-draw/ or https://www.jumblebee.co.uk/WADE. There are no postal or telephone entries to this draw.
    5. Each ticket for this draw will cost £5. Payment for entry is by card only. Online entry is limited to TEN tickets in each transaction.
    6. Tickets may be purchased by anyone of 18 years of age or older, irrespective of whether they are a member of Angling Trust or not. Entrants will need to confirm their age, their name (forename and surname) and contact details during the purchase process. No tickets to be sold to or by persons under the age of 18.
    7. Entrants may be required to provide a copy of their driving licence or passport if we have any doubt about their age. It is an offence for anyone under the age of 16 years to participate in a lottery. The Gambling Act 2005 places a statutory duty upon the Angling Trust to verify that participants are 16 years old or over. Any underage entrants found to be using a false date of birth will have their entry invalidated.     8. There is a single prize for this draw. The prize is for one day’s sea fishing for 5 people (the prize party) with TV angling celebrity and Angling Trust ambassador Jeremy Wade, aboard the Tusker 2 boat out of Cardiff Bay Marina. The prize party will fish for conger eel, smooth hound and tope as well as four species of ray and bass. All tackle and bait is provided. The prize draw winner will need to agree the date with Jeremy Wade and Tusker 2 skipper, Haydn Ross.  Jeremy Wade is currently available between 13 – 19 July 2020 and the prize should be taken during this time.  Alternative dates may not be available. However, exact timings are subject to tides and weather as well as any changes to Jeremy Wade’s schedule. In the event of a change we will work with all parties to arrange an alternative date.
    9. Under 18’s are permitted within the prize party, but must be accompanied by a parent at all times who will also be part of the prize party of five anglers. For safety reasons non participating guests are not able to come on the boat.
    10. The prize winner and participating guests in the party must comply with any instructions given by the boat skipper, especially in the interests of their own safety. There is a climb / descent to get into the boat, and stability is an issue if the sea is rough. We suggest that you will need to be able to manage these scenarios in terms of your own physical ability.
    11. No cash alternative will be given. Transport to and from Cardiff and any accommodation costs are not included in the prize.
    12. The winning ticket will be drawn by random selection by Jumblebee, the operator of the online ticket sales platform using their random number generator.
    13. The winner will be notified in writing and may be contacted by telephone. The name of the winner will be available from Angling Trust, Eastwood House, 6 Rainbow Street, Leominster, HR6 8DQ after 19 March 2020.

The prize draw winner will need to agree the date with Paul Whitehouse and must be taken between 3 – 17 May 2020. Alternative dates may not be available. In the event of any unforeseen changes to Paul Whitehouse’s schedule we will work with all parties to arrange an alternative date.
    9. We request that anyone who attends with the prize winner who is under 18 is accompanied by a parent at all times, as part of the prize winning party.
    10. Disabled access is available – please discuss this with Paul Whitehouse if required when arranging your date.

The prize is for a minimum of two people, but Dai could accommodate up to a maximum of four people in the prize party depending on your choice of specimen fish to target.
  9. Under 18’s are permitted within the prize party, but must be accompanied by a parent at all times who will also be part of the prize party.

    10. There is close access to the water at Shearwater Lake, so disabled access should be available – please discuss this with Rob Hughes when agreeing the date.

The prize draw winner can agree the date with the water owner and Charles Jardine and must be taken during the period May 2020 to September 2020.

    10. If you have any mobility issues, please discuss these with the water owner when agreeing the date.

    14. All profits of the draw will be used to support the work of the Angling Trust.
    15. Angling Trust employees and directors, Fish Legal employees and committee members and immediate family of the same are not permitted to enter the draw.

Problem Gambling

  1. Angling Trust is aware of the problems gambling may cause. If you think you might have a problem with gambling, then please visit gambleaware.co.ukor call the GamCare Helpline on: 0808 8020 133 for information or advice on how to gamble responsibly.
  2. The Angling Trust supports the work of GambleAware.

Liability

  1. Angling Trust shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage suffered by you arising from:
    1. Any delays or failures in the postal service or other delivery methods used by Angling Trust, our partners or you from time to time.
    2. Any delays or failures in any systems used by Angling Trust, our partners or you to transmit e-mails.
    3. Any failure in any software or other systems used by Angling Trust or our partners for the administration of the raffle.
    4. Any delays of failures in the banking system used by Angling Trust or you.
    5. Any failure to enter your ticket(s) into the draw.
    6. Any event beyond the reasonable control of Angling Trust.
    7. Angling Trust shall not be liable to you in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise for any indirect or consequential loss suffered by you in relation to your participation in the draw (including loss of the opportunity to enter the draw and / or the chance of winning a prize).

Proper Law and Jurisdiction

  1. The Laws of England and Wales shall govern the interpretation and/or enforcement of these rules and all entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
MARKETING, PRIVACY & COMPLAINTS

Marketing and Opting-out

  1. Angling Trust may send marketing material to all Adult, Life and Young Adult members, lapsed members and registered contacts on our database, with the exception of those parties who have informed us of their decision to opt-out of such marketing material. Angling Trust will also market the draw through the Angling Trust website, social media channels, press releases, members’ magazine and members’ e-news emails. Angling Trust may also market the draw through third parties, by way of advertisements and/or third party mailings to customers and subscribers of those partner organisations.
  2. Any member, lapsed member or registered contact who does not wish to receive marketing material about this draw or similar draws in future should contact the Angling Trust by e-mail to admin@anglingtrust.netor in person or in writing to: Angling Trust, 6 Rainbow St., Leominster, Herefordshire, HR6 8DQ or by telephone to 0343 5077 006 (option 1). Once a person has opted-out of receiving marketing material (i.e. self-excluded), they will not be able to opt back in for 12 months from the date of them opting-out.

Complaints

  1. The Angling Trust aims to ensure that any issue regarding our draws are dealt with promptly and in confidence.
  2. If you wish to make a complaint then please contact our in-house membership team in any of the following ways listed below.

  3. Your complaint will be fully investigated and a response issued within 10 working days.
  4. If you are still not happy with the response the issue will then be referred to the Chairman of the Angling Trust via the address above.
  5. If the matter cannot be resolved internally by the Angling Trust, it would then be referred to IBAS (Independent Betting and Adjudication Service)

Your data, Privacy and GDPR

  1. Angling Trust is committed to protecting your privacy. Data that we collect from you in connection with this draw is used lawfully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and is used solely for the purpose of processing your purchase of draw tickets, subsequent entry into the draw, informing you if you have won a prize and, only where you consent, for providing you with information from the Angling Trust relating to Angling Trust and Fish Legal membership, events, products, services and fundraising.
  2. You have the right to access the information we hold about you. To obtain this information, please contact us in writing at Eastwood House, 6 Rainbow Street, Leominster, Herefordshire HR6 8DQ. You may be asked to provide proof of your identity prior to personal information being disclosed to you.
  3. We respect your privacy and will not sell, rent or grant access to any of the personal data we collect about you to any third parties without your express prior permission.
  4. We may share aggregated information to third parties. This will not contain personal information that can identify any individual person.
  5. In making an online entry of a draw ticket, you understand that information relating to your entry in the Angling Trust’s Great Fishing Prize Draw will be passed on to our I.T. partner for processing purposes only.
  6. By default you will opted out of receiving any promotional mailings from Angling Trust. During the entry process, you have the option to opt in to receive promotional mailings. Your decision to opt in or not, has no bearing on your entry to the draw. If you choose to opt in, you will receive information from the Angling Trust relating to Angling Trust and Fish Legal membership, events, products, services and fundraising. The Angling Trust is committed to controlling costs and as such would ask that you agree that wherever practical our preferred method of communication will be email. We respect your privacy and will not sell your personal information to any third party without your consent. If you do opt in to promotional mailings, you can rescind your decision to opt in by contacting our membership team on admin@anglingtrust.netor by calling 0343 5077 006 (Option 1).
  7. We may be obliged to disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, for example to statutory bodies such as the Gambling Commission or other government bodies.
